Kotonaru
India barely makes its own anime, and nobody is making it with a generative pipeline. Kotonaru is a trailer built to prove it can be done: a 2D Indian anime that holds character, performance and tone across a full cut, with no animation team behind it.

How it was made
01
Ideation & scripting
Written with Claude running a custom Prompt Bible skill - a document that fixes the world, the characters and exactly which frames get generated and which never do.
02
Visual scene design
Nano Banana Pro and Midjourney for the 2D look: line weight, palette and character sheets locked as stills before any motion existed.
03
Audio
Seedream Audio 1.0 for ambience and score, ElevenLabs v3 for the Hindi performance passes - audio finished first so the picture could be cut to it.
04
Video & lipsync
Seedance 2.5 for motion with audio-driven lipsync, generated shot by shot against the locked reference sheets.
05
Post production
Conformed, cut, graded and mixed in Premiere Pro to a trailer rhythm - hook in three seconds, turn at the end.
Outcome
A pitchable 2D Indian anime trailer made solo. It's the piece that demonstrates the whole pipeline in one artifact - and the one the workshop is built around.
